Khan has got the tools to dethrone Mayweather, but for his own sake I believe it is preferential to fight Porter or someone else to really set the things in motion towards a Floyd bout. Hopefully Maidana gets the rematch as it was exciting the 1st time AND gives Khan time for his fasting, so it works out perfectly for next year if Khan pulls another solid win.

Coming from a Maidana fantard, that's funny. Headbutts, low blows, rabbit punches, knees, elbows etc.

Khan needs to take his win last night in context, he might not have been outboxed before but his been dropped and KO'D often enough. Yes he did get a win last night I can't take that away from him but he got away with a lot of pushing and was lucky not to have more points deducted this he will have to work on and his not a big puncher with amount of shots Collazo took he should of stopped him so his power is not great and his in fighting is non-existent this is where Floyd will dismantle him. With Ramadan coming up and he can't fight in September so his next opportunity will be next May so unless his having another long lay off he will need to fight in November a lot can happen. I believe if Khan fights any power fighter like Thurman or Guerreor he will be stopped but they will again go for a boxer and not a big puncher.

You can't compare Floyd and Khans performance last night, completely 2 different fights, Mayweather was fighting a pressure puncher who was smothering him and khan was fighting a counter puncher /boxer who was in the centre of the ring with his hands down and not even bothering protecting himself because he did not fear Khans power, Khan was pushing down behind his head all night which is illegal that's why Collazo hit him below the belt. Mayweather will get a ref that will stamp this out, if I remember Khan was tired after the Maidana fight and was lucky to get throught the 10th round - I've seen it been stopped before in those conditions and Khan won a split decision against Maidana what help him with the decision was dropping him in the early rounds. So comparing the performances last night is non- sensical never right Floyd off this has been done to often and his still undefeated.

I didn't go back and read all the post, but didn't Lamont Peterson "technically" outbox Khan? At least in the eyes of the Judges. Pillow-fist did win the decision....
