Comments Thread For: Khan Warns Mayweather: I've Never Been Outboxed

LAS VEGAS --- Amir Khan believes his victory over Luis Collazo should land him the next shot at Floyd Mayweather, but there has already been talk about a Mayweather-Marcos Maidana rematch in September.

"I mean, if it happens, it happens," Khan said. "I think people know I fought Maidana and how convincing the win was and we put him down. Maidana is a great champion, a great fighter. But I really believe styles make fights in boxing and the style I have with the speed, explosiveness and movement will give Floyd a lot of problems. I mean, Maidana boxed a little tonight, which we haven't seen much of. He was like catching Floyd, so like I said I'd love the fight with Floyd and if it happens, it happens."

Really liked what I saw from Khan last night. Would like to see him get another camp and fight in to really perfect things before facing Mayweather in May.

Where in that article did you get that impression? He explicitly says he won't fight in September

Yeah, Floyd is gonna push back his September fight for Amir Khan. When was the last time Floyd fought and it wasn't in May or September?

It's not outboxing, out running is the right term. Khan can do better in a 100 mtrs. dash track and field race. Landslide Strangulation win last Saturday. Stop the hype.

Khan will put a masterclass boxing clinic on Floyd

Floyd knows it, he cant cope with speed, a guy with a jab, power shots to the body

We saw last night a slowbo landing on Floyds body and by the end of the fight Floyd was very tired...

We also saw last night what a devastating bodypuncher Khan is, and we've seen it before in the past

Old body vs bodypunch specialist = Floyd loses

Landing punches and not getting hit by punches is boxing. Welcome to the sport.
