The fight's results went unchanged. The commission ruled that he didnt have an advantage, and so did the IBF after doing research. Now i am in no way obsolving him of any wrong doing, but he won the fight, passed all his tests, and then retroactively got investigated and 2/3 parties involved (commission and IBF) said he was good to go, while the WBA stripped him of his title and awarded it to Khan, who was promptly knocked out by Garcia in his VERY next fight.

I have no issue bringing up his loss to Peterson that he was outboxed. Split Decision, Majority Decision, Unanimous Decision, he lost, he lost on his feet, he lost without being stopped. All that to me = OUTBOXED.

      Did i s-s-s-studder mother f***er?? LOL.

YES! he was pressured, he was dropped! he was taken out of his comfort zone and lost a decision in a boxing match. is that not the point of boxing??

That was not a very good example to support your argument, but i see where you are trying to go. Maybe when Figueora beat the Japanese dude by decision that wasnt a case of outboxing... Maybe. But you cant compare a fight like that to Khan Peterson. At least i cant. because they are totally different In my humble opinion.

Oh GOD! That's all we need Floyd Joy "Hold and use Forearm" Mayweather v. Amir "Clinch" Khan...it will probably end up being a double disqualification like a WWE match LOL.

I still don't see why both of these two guys were not continuously warned and deducted points until they stopped holding. Khan lost a point and still kept holding lol I was baffled.

Outboxing someone is predominantly about hitting and not getting hit. Maidana outhustled and outfought Broner, he didn't "outbox" him.

Peterson was getting outboxed by Khan early, that's why he switched up his tactics and went on PED fuelled charges forward to pressure Khan

as if fighting like ward is a bad thing

khan is a mix of ward, wlad and pac....= floyd loses 12 UD or gets floored by a bodyshot

one more fight for khan against ghost or devon and he'll be ready to end moneys reign

the khan haters are made up of floyd nutthuggers and maidana bum boys, they dont want to see khan of all people beat floyd....they wud rather see anyone else beat floyd bar khan

but its khan who holds the money key...ward mixed with wlad, mixed with a little pac = nightmares for OLD floyd

roach has said it along khan can outbox floyd 12UD if he fights smart...just like he did last night..its up to khan if he wants to fight smart or dumb

That's because he didn't get caught AT THE TIME. He later admitted to using anabolic testosterone before the Khan fight. Mosley admitted to using EPO before, too, yet they didn't overturn his wins. They can't do that if the fighter doesn't fail the pre or post fight drug test.

Couldn't care less if its the "sweet science" or not. I hope he keeps doing it.

Coming from a Maidana fantard, that's funny. Headbutts, low blows, rabbit punches, knees, elbows etc.

                  Clinching doe

I understand your point, but disagree. Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit. Outboxing is more of who can do that better than their opponent, and who can impliment their gameplan better. To me. If both are taking punishment, the guy taking the least amount, the guy imposing his will, and dictacting the fight, is outboxing his opponent.

But having said that, i do think Floyd and Khan would be a good fight if Khan can stay winning and take on a serious contender in the meantime.

Collazo is a tricky/awkward customer but seemed to have been fighting foolishly last night. If Collazo had better offense, who knows how that fight would have gone. Meaning, a more offensive minded fighter may have put Khan into a predicament.
