Floyd as skillfull as he is didnt bring it against maidana and got beaten and manhandled, this myth about cleaner punches is just simply a myth, punches catch floyd a whole lot more than you think... he turns with the punch alot so it looks like it doesnt hit but it hits, not to mention the lack of scoring on them deadly body punches maidana was landing damn!. i understand he is the champ and u usually have to win more convincingly than that to win the title, but if this was any other fight on friday night fights or wateva maidana would of taken it.

It was close but he won. No one had Maidana winning - that is important. The ringside/studio commentators in the US and UK streams, the judges [2/0/1]. I had Floyd 7-5 up - a very close fight.
Landed more and at double the percentage so I cant see how he can be deemed to have lost. -

Bias is exactly what all the buzz is about.
Mayweather won this fight hands down. But if I was him I'd give the rematch and box. Make a lot more money, give a deserving Chino a lot more money and shut up the haters because the critics already know Mayweather won.Comment

i dont think he did enough to win, it was mad close but i think maidana busted him up more if were talking "effective" punches, just look at their faces after the fight, floyd was alot worse offComment

7-5 Floyd Mayweather, a draw could have been fine as well, but no way did Mayweather lose.
I could see why some would think that, because some are confused when they see a fighter throw huge volumes.Comment
