LAS VEGAS --- Floyd Mayweather wasn't exactly complimentary of the job referee Tony Weeks did during his fight against Marcos Maidana on Saturday night at the MGM Grand.

Mayweather, who won a majority decision, believes he was hit by way too many low blows and Maidana was allowed to use rough tactics throughout the fight.

HAHAHAHA! Mayweather was playing nintendo with Tony Weeks, what is he on about? Weeks wouldn't let Maidana work inside, broke them every time there was even a soft clench, and took every instruction Floyd gave him. "warn him ref warn him" Weeks would call time and warn maidana...

Floyd paid for everything last night, now he is trying to complain to make it look like he didn't.

The ref was on your side Yelling Girl wtf are you talking about I know the beating you took is making you say this.I agree though there should be a unbiased ref. Let Maidana choose the ref. You know what ask n get anything you want Whoweather just make it happen I want to enjoy seeing Maidana beat your MF as.z again. BTW the commentators were all Pro Whoweather but like I said nothing that happened last night takes the fact that Maidana beat the brakes of Yelling Girl. I luved it.

Weeks did a great job, stayed out of the action and let both men fight relatively dirty.

What did Mayweather do that was dirty? Keeping your guard up when your opponent comes in with is face is not elbowing. Clinching the arm while your opponent is holding you around the waist and trying to hit you with the other hand is not dirty. It's defending against a dirty tactic. Referee repeatedly warned Maidana for hitting behind the head but let him keep doing it. He landed repeated low blows and never got a point taken away. He tried to knee mayweather in the face and the ref didn't even notice. That was very lax refereeing. It comes with the game and Maidana did well to employ such tactics. But it still wasn't enough to win. It seems like compubox counted all of Maidana's illegal punches because those are what he mostly landed. Mayweather did well to keep his composure and pull out the win while facing some real adversity from a rough and dirty fighter and a laid back referee.

Mayweather held and elbowed more than Khan and Broner combined last night....Maidana had his moments too, but most of it was a reaction to Floyd's actions.
