Not to drum excuses for a subpar performance, but Mayweather's....

... head didn't seem to be in the right place.

From the opening bell it just looked like he didn't want to be in there, not because of Maidana, he just came across as disinterested.

How is that not an excuse.
No it was not the reason.
Maidana came out hard and tap Floyd asses, that why floyd looked lost.

This is what I thought. I thought Mayweather won and I found a draw to be way off to be honest, Maidana did MUCH better than we all anticipated but you can't confuse that with him winning the fight IMO.

When I was watching it during the fight me and my mate said the exact same thing, it was as if he didn't want to be in there, at one point I was wondering if his heart was in it. He looked like he wanted to do just about enough to win the fight and go home.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe he just overlooked Maidana and was surprised by his style on the night and hadn't anticipated him to be like that, maybe hes beginning to age (which I don't think because he looked incredible against Alvarez and when he was actually putting punches together he looked good last night).

There were people claiming Cotto beat Floyd on here straight after the fight, and that all died down after a few weeks, I think the same thing will probably happen here.

just an excuse, he lost that, no idea why people keep being brainwashed by showtime as they were licking floyds nuts all fight. people need to stop making excuses for floyd, he lost 5 of the first 6 rounds easily, I guess I understand why his legions made excuses for him to keep avoiding the best now

floyd is a cherrypicker but he got exposed tonight as his cherrypick backfired

Nope Floyd realized Maidana will not respect him at all so he looked at Weeks for a little assistance.
