Floyd's cut was due to an accidental headbutt. Cotto made him bleed through a punch though. I do think Cotto landed more effective punches. I remember seeing welts under BOTH of Floyd's eyes after the Cotto fight.

I think the difference in this fight with Maidana is that he applied much more pressure than Cotto. Was more physical, more rough. And that strategy made rounds a lot closer to score. Most of which happened with Floyd laying on the ropes, and Cotto also made rounds close on the ropes too.

    That's just my view.

Watch him v rios and tell me the intensity is the same all 12 rounds.

Floyd must be a brilliant hype job because he won this fight 8-4 easily after round 6.

Bend at the waist to avoid the wild rights, keep a firm guard to the right to stop wild punches.

      Had him figured out.
Pac was cautious, you do remember he was planking in the last fight...in fact this current Pac is just as dangerous, he definitely has lost his intensity he uses more boxing than outright relentless offence.

He boxes very will against a very limited fighter in Rios.

The only effective punches Cotto did was the jab and occasionally body shots that went unnoticed.

Maidana clearly did better, landed more and did very good body work. The Cotto fight was a clear win for Mayweather, this fight in my "opinion" was a very close fight that could have ended in a draw or to either fighter.

Of course the intensity wasn't the same. The pressure was the same, but the guy just got KTFO. Obviously he's going to fight with more caution due to the same intensity being partially responsible for him gunning to finish Marquez and nearl getting him killed. The guy is obviously going to be more conservative. Not as conservative as a guy like Floyd, but conservative nonetheless.

At either rate, Floyd was extremely disappointing against a bum like Maidana.

When Floyd fought that slow ass bum Canelo, and the first judge was announced a draw, Floyd looked disgusted. When tonight's judge read the first judge had it a draw, Floyd made no objections. He knew he was in a fight, and he knew it was against a bum and he turned in an amateur performance.

You never answered my question. How is Bradley elite?

                  Sorry. I missed that question.

First, I'm no expert, but the experts have said Bradley is elite and from what I have seen of him, yes. I agree with the experts. He is elite.

Second, Bradley beat Alexander. Alexander beat Maidana more convincingly and by a wider margin than Floyd did. Floyd is "The Best Ever" and looked poor against Maidana who lost worse to Alexander who lost to Bradley.

I think that is enough to qualify Bradley as elite. Do you agree?

46-0. I agree. And if Floyd continues to fight, as long as he keeps fighting slow footed and slow fisted bums like Maidana he is well on his way to breaking, or at least tying Marciano's 49-0
