i for one thought that maidana would get handled something mean, but i also have been one to never gauge correctly, how far the right mental state in addition to an awkward style can take you in a fight. chino put up a HELL of a fight. i was drunk and blazed and turned to my friend at the end of the 12th and said that floyd better have not lost because i didn't bet the underdog. if he had lost, i literally would have cried.

there is a reason floyd has ducked the best, he is not that good as chino showed
        He might...

        Ortiz
        Cayo
        Corley
        Morales
        Karass
        Lopez
        Broner

Kotelnik, Khan and Mayweather are arguably close losses.

Anyhow I thought Maidana had a chance of an early stoppage win but Maidana was far more competitive over the whole 12 rounds than I ever thought he would be, it certainly wasn't a mismatch that most including myself felt it would be.

          You've been riding Maidana's **** non-stop and you call his doubters *****.

Anyway, much respect to him, I didn't think the fight would be as close as it was.

Hey man, I even made a thread giving Chino and his fans props. I hope you forgive me.

I even think the Co-Chief of the Chinotards, LoadedWraps, forgave me. Didn't get anything from the Chief Syf doe.

His biggest asset to getting in the HOF is his fan friendly style. If Gatti can get in so can Maidana, because IMO Maidana > Gatti. No disrespect to gatti, but he was what he was. A tough guy that not only lost, but got stopped in his biggest fights. Tough as they come and always brought it.

Maidana is no bum. Had he used his regular gloves there's no doubt he would hurt and possibly knockdown Mayweather. Maidana has become an elite fighter in the division that still has a few big fights left in him. A fight with Pacquiao would be something I would love to see.

Lets hope Pac jumps ship so we can see some of these fights.
