Allow me to apologise to Marcos Maidana

I have been riding him pretty hard the last few weeks, but I will always hold my hands up when wrong.

He fought out of his skin tonight and gave a very strong performance beyond what i thought he was capable of.

If i was him, i'd take 2 fights before the rematch if i can, because immidiate rematches against counterunches usually favour the counterpuncher.

WE TOLD ALL OF YOU!! We knew what was coming. It was close but **** we ****ing won. I am so proud of chino for real. Everybody celebrating after the fight, you can tell The majority thought Maidana won.

AND THIS WAS WITH THE PILLOW GLOVES THEY FORCED CHINO TO USE!! Give him the punchers glove like he has always used and mayweather gets knocked down for a clearer victory.

It was always obvious Maidana would trouble Mayweather.

Just like I said before the fight.

      Floyds well passed his prime.

Maidana will bring the fight every round. A style he has NOT seen in years.

Maidana will have no respect for Floyd.

People need to look at things more closely. The fact Maidana is a slow of foot was literally enough to right him off and compare him to guys who have a completely different style.

        Maidana was awesome tonight.

I felt he clearly lost, but I hope a rematch is made. Though I doubt it.

It will be. And that's what they wanted. Fight was not close in my eyes.

Respect to Chino. He lost fair and square but that was Floyd's hardest fight since Castillo I.

I think it was close but clear.

Maidana made a lot of the rounds close with the corner work, but ultimately Mayweather had the better work.

A rematch would be good. but then again, a rematch with Canelo at 154 would also not be bad if Canelo looks impressive against Lara.

Let me get this straight, Floyd schools Canelo and people say that was one of his best performances against a hungry young lion and after tonight all of a sudden he's WELL past his prime, okay you low IQ ppl.

^^^ This. Any fighter who can cut off the ring and has an aggressive style will give Floyd problems, especially those guys who use roughhousing tactics. Floyd is definitely aging and well past his prime, but it take a certain type of fighters to make him uncomfortable. If fighters are going to try to box him in the center of the ring and not able to consistently cutting off the ring to trap his escape route, then you have a puncher's chance of beating him, but you won't really make him uncomfortable. Shawn Porter would give Floyd a tough fight. He has almost the same style as Maidana where he use his weight to rough up his opponents against the ropes and make them uncomfortable.
