Oscar is a boxing guy... He knows what's good for boxing... He knows that bridging the gap with other top Promoter is a better for the sport!

People speak too much out of emotion, Schaeffer is a partner in GBP, his position is CEO (chief executive officer) he runs the company, he is the one who got the inveators while oscar got the sponsors - this is business, do you want a boxer running the company or a swiss banker who was able to get a couple of billionaires to invest! See a boxer will have a press conference, a ceo will have a meeting to go over minutes and any changes that need to be reported. Doesn't look good. If Schafer leaves then Oscar is done because Mayweather, Haymon and all of the fighters are going with Schafer and then Oscar has nothing because everyone knows Schafer puts in the work. Dumb move by Oscar. And what does he mean by taking control back? He is the "Golden Boy". Sounds like he has issues with more than he is letting off.

I think Oscar found out the hard way (while in rehab) what Schaefer is been doing all this time......probably back staving GBP, and trying to get rid of Oscar replace him with Al haymond, he probably in cahoots with Haymon to put him out of business, signing all of GBP fighters and than take over.

So if I was Oscar I would do the same, I rather have someone good at doing business but loyal to me, than someone better but a traitor. Schaefer clearly piss off the president of the company and he should be accountable for it.
