A lot of talk of Maidana being a little bit soft to the body and he seems to ease off in the mid-late rounds and gather himself for the last few. If Floyd can make him miss all night and demonstrate some good body work, then by the time Maidana needs to regroup in those mid-to-late rounds then he could end up looking very gassed indeed. If this was to happen then I do not think it is out of this world for Floyd to stop him, but he most likely wont.

I find it easier to imagine Floyd picking Chino to bits down the stretch than I do him scoring a KO.

My prediction is a Floyd win, the avenue of approach is one I would not like to call, but enjoy the fight(s) guys, I know we will...

With that said, Floyd isn't quite what he used to be, and doesn't like pushing for KO's almost at all these days.
        tonight is different

Nobody beat FLoyd In a long time? What does that mean, when Floyd plans to retire after his six fight contract? Should be more to the point and specific!

Diaz should see how Bradley does against FLoyd before commenting on how great he is.

Oh, that's right, he got the jump on Ortiz and knocked out a guy that wasn't defending himself. Since not everybody is naive like Victor, we can assume that was an isolated event and certainly not a legitimate KO.

The last stoppage by Mayweather was Hatton, 7 years ago. That's almost as long ago as BHop's last stoppage. Maybe they could call their fight: 50-50=0 chance of kayo.

Prior to defends-with-face Hatton, you have to go back to Sharmba Mitchell - knocked out thrice in 5 as he closed his career, finally by PW - and the shell formerly known as Gatti, a kayo of a guy who had traded on toughness but who had the ability punched out of him - and was knocked out later by Alfonso Gomez.

            TL;DR: Floyd only kayos chumps
He'll take the W along with the cash ,knockouts are boring anyway. I can remember when people wanted their money back because Tyson fights were so short ...ya see what I'm talking about.

I can see Floyd drop Maidana a couple of times but the only way Floyd stops him is if he goes after Maidana and force a KO, so he needs to leave his safety-first style and I don't think Floyd will take any unnecessary risks even when he has Maidana hurt and ready to go.
I agree with that assessment. Moreover, if maidana lands any of his crazy overhand rights, Floyd will likely be cautious from there on out and just one shot him to a UD. I don't see maidana having much chance to win this.
