With the bout basically a few hours away, many fighters and trainers have shared their opinions on the upcoming fight between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Marcos “Chino” Maidana. Opinions range from it being an easy fight for Floyd to other feeling Maidana will be dangerous due to his power.

When BoxingScene spoke to trainer Joel Diaz, he was asked for his opinion regarding Floyd Mayweather.

“Floyd Mayweather is by far the greatest. He was born with a gift and not only that, he’s a very talented fighter naturally. I don’t see anybody beating him in a long time” Diaz would tell BoxingScene.

The only way this happens is if Maidana is overly aggressive and sets himself up to be KO'd. Which considering his style is very possible. But I'm still going with Floyd by decision.

Mayweather could get the stoppage if Maidana gasses from swinging and missing and chasing Floyd all night, all the while eating crisp counters.

With that said, Floyd isn't quite what he used to be, and doesn't like pushing for KO's almost at all these days.
