Latest news about the gloves fiasco: Someone of the team Maidana is telling to argentine TV that Chino is coming with the red everlast MX that were aproved by the commission but they expect to be offered extra money in the next hours to change the gloves. Btw Maidana is totally isolated and knows nothing about this gloves thing.

that is a logical way of going about this because contracts are involved. maidana already signed the bottom line, they can't force him to wear anything unless they pay him more money or shut down the card.

I googled everlast mx gloves snd the padding on almost every picture looks the same as the blue ones maidana had... he was not cheating and did not tamper with the gloves, that is just how they are made

It is an issue. It shows that Floyd continues to find ways to choose the easiest fights and gain an advantage over his opponents like when he came in overweight vs Marquez but nobody called him a cheater for that.

why the hell would team maidana try to cheat the gloves and jeopardize a fight of this magnitude and the biggest payday of his career knowing full well that the gloves goes through a routine inspection by the commission for it to be approved. let me ask you this... would you go through LAX with a .45 cal in your handcarry knowing full well of the repercussions? think before you post.

They would try to cheat for fame and fortune. Unscrupulous people do it all the time in the real world. Some are able to get a way with it and some are not, it happens all the time. It's for the same reason Team Margarito tried to cheat, it's for fame and fortune. For anyone to beat Mayweather at this stage, would be huge.
