this amounts to a difference in fight style, like arguments over the size of the ring. A man who wants to cut off the ring wants the ring size to be smaller. A man with heavy hands going up against a defensive wizard wants there to be less padding on the knuckles of his gloves. That's understandable. If it was approved by the commission, which it was, then it should be legal. Mayweather should have raised this before the day of the fight if he was going to complain about this.

Latest news about the gloves fiasco: Someone of the team Maidana is telling to argentine TV that Chino is coming with the red everlast MX that were aproved by the commission but they expect to be offered extra money in the next hours to change the gloves. Btw Maidana is totally isolated and knows nothing about this gloves thing.

Floyd is looking more like a b*tch by the hour.

If I was Maidana and team I wouldnt accept it. God knows what type or how much padding are in those sissy gloves.

floyd is being a diva. afaik, maidana is contractually allowed to wear any brand of gloves he desires and the gloves he wants to wear are commission approved. they should have known how these gloves are constructed from the very beginning.
