Because according to some around here, boxing gloves don't need padding. "Padding is only supposed to protect the person punching, not the person getting hit".

Well considering the commission ruled the gloves weren't good for the fight because of the lack of padding......it seems as if there wasn't padding or enough padding in the pair.....???

If Maidana was forced to wear Grant, that's not cool. He should just be able to wear a different pair of the same brand.

Did they ruled that the gloves were not good because of lack of padding?
Did they say that the gloves had been tampered with or were the type of gloves not acceptable?

Was it just this pair or was it the type of glove?

Or was it merely the case that the pair in question were not in the packaging.

Again, the second pair wasn't adequate. They weren't as bad as the first, but they shouldn't be sanctioned either.
