Is Maidana taller than Floyd? In that face to face picture Maidana's shoulders seem higher than Floyd's.

You can tell the difference between a fighter that stays in shape between fights and one that doesn't. Floyd's face and body look natural weighing in at 146 while Maidana's face looks sort of ****** in.

I feel very strongly about this. The more I look at this fight, the more I realize that this is just a bad style matchup for Floyd. It doesn't have to do with talent or skills, it is more about styles and how they clash with each other. Even when Mayweather puts his shoulder up, Maidana's overhand right will land on the upper side of his dome. IN FACT, Maidana NEEDS to feint and wait for Mayweather to pull the shoulder up and attack once he is in the position.

The awkwardness will cause Mayweather to misread Chino and ultimately get caught with some vicious flush shots. Huge upset.

Chavez Sr touched on this in A Los Golpes, he said he couldn't stress enough how complicated awkward fighters like Maidana are. Marquez has also gone on record to say that he sees a big chance this Saturday for Maidana to give Mayweather his first loss.

This is true. That chopping overhand could land on top of his head and snap the neck back, but i think Floyd will smother everything Chino does when they are in range and kill him to the body and with uppercuts.

This is going to sound ******, but only because 90% of posters on here don't have much idea, but Floyd has faced two very awkward fighters in his career to date. Augustus and Baldomir. Augustus can be ignored because while he is awkward it's in a more orthodox way, but Baldomir reminds me alot of Chino in the way he moves and throws certain punches. Floyd was uncomfortable with the awkward nature of Baldomir despite winning and he isn't as fast on his feet anymore as he was then. This is why he hired Baldo for sparring. I don't think Chino will catch him off guard. He has the experience and has seen it before. Look for Floyd to catch Chino instead.
