He's not though, he's the owner. Schaefer is the CEO, the guy who runs the company and by many a credible word, built the company into what it is today.

If Oscar is acting in the opposite interest of his CEO, the guy running the business, he has to either back down and let the CEO do his job, or fire him.

So does then Oscar hire a yes man? He might as well take control as you put it, but do you think a former boxer, a guy currently in a rehabilitation program, and who likes to wear fishnet stockings; could run the company better than one of the best bankers and businessmen in the world?

Let's be serious, Golden Boy needs Schaefer more than Schaefer needs them. He could walk out of a Golden Boy and get a job at many high profile banks/organisations, if a love of boxing didn't keep him in the sport.
