Bridges will be burned but I'm sure they will come to an agreement of some sort.

          • lol this may be rainbows and roses until it gets to business... and once again they will be faced with inevitable disagreements and contentions causing both sides to make snarky comments.

            • Hopefully something comes of this and they can actually start working together. I'll believe it when I see it, though

                • So he's trying to make peace with Arum while claiming he doesn't want to fire Schaffer and wants to keep him around.

Are Oscar and Schaffer playing a good cop bad cop here?
This way GBP gets some of their fighters on HBO by acting like they're trying to make peace with Top Rank, and at the same time not pizzing off Showtime by Schaffer claiming it's Oscar who is doing it?

                    • this is a good thing. both promotional companies will greatly benefit on this collaboration. the market will open up and everyone invovled can make huge amounts of money. more meaningful fights equals more fans and ultimately more revenue to go around
