Thurman will more than likely fight for the vacant WBA championship (Floyd will vacate it guaranteed). Then he will become full champion and that's where he can make some noise.

Well obviously even since before the De La Hoya fight, Floyd has a history of avoiding fights and retiring unless he feels comfortable with the opponent and the terms (see Mosley years before they fought, see Cotto at 140, see Margarito at 47 instead fought Baldomir, see Pacquiao about 10 times, see Sergio Martinez at 154 but fought a post-Margo and Pac beaten Cotto, etc.) Compare that to someone like Pacquiao who has been and is willing to fight anyone within a reasonable weight limit.

You can't criticize Floyd's opponents without criticizing Manny's. Manny has fought the same guys Floyd fought after Floyd beat them and he's fought 3 people in his last 5 fights. There is this idea that Manny is fighting riskier competition and he really isn't. Canelo and Maidana are more of risk than anybody Manny has fought since Cotto.

Take the $40 million? Didn't 50 Cent already say that Floyd was worried about what the other fighter was making rather than himself and that was the problem. Floyd makes more getting 60/40 with Pac than any other fight. So whatever Floyd offers Pac, Pac should accept in your Floyd-worshiping mind. At the time when Floyd made that offer...it should have been 50/50.

Secondly, why is it so difficult to understand that Floyd does not want to do BUSINESS with Arum, when he is in a position where he doesn't have to? quick question why is it everybody wants Floyd to fight everybody from 140 to 175 but none of these demands are placed on Pacquiao?? we hold Floyd to a higher standard, because no matter how much you hate him, deep down you know he's the best. No Pacquiao fan would ever demand for Pac to fight Golovkin, Lara, Ward and Hopkins, people are perfectly content with Manny still chasing 42 year old Marquez around while Floyd takes on hungry new monsters who are exploding onto the scene, but yet Floyd is the coward?? I don't get it. . as far as Thurman, he already has the charisma to be the face of of boxing, his confidence is not repulsive as is the case with Broner, and he's not an annoying prick like Khan is, so personality wise he is the next superstar of boxing, but I would like for him to face the winner of Khan/Collazo next, or the winner of Brooks/Porter. Stylistically Thurman vs Pacquiao is more intriguing than Thurman vs Mayweather.
