maybe he should fight someone that isnt a c fighter first? Diaz was touching him up in the last round of their fight.

Good post .... Guys are always in search of that boogie-man!

Thurman, should take the DG route and just keep taking names and building his following. Guys that are potential Floyd opponents, need to bring something to the table i.e. A broad following, A Championship belt or a good history of being a revenue generator.

At this point in Thurmans career .... he has none of those assets.

Thurman mentioned Floyd, now sit back and wait for his last week fans to throw him under the bus...never fails.

So you really believe this sort of stuff? You think there are professional fighters who are not in it for the money just because they say so?
The guy's just singing for his supper and him mentioning the likes of Mayweather is just trying to get recognition. If he really wants a fight let him call Guererre a bad ass muther****er who will actually beat him up not just beat him. Guererro has no opponent lined up so let him call Guererro and put pressure on Al Haymon. Instead what does he do? He calls Shawn Porter who has a mmandatory and Mayweather he knows he cant get. Once they are signed up he will be fed a bum and claim 'I' staying busy and no one wants to fight me'.

Glad to see Thurman asking for his shot! I was confused by Porter fighting Paulie. Not what a champ should do! I don't think Keith will get a shot in 2014. If Cotto wins, I think we see Floyd vs. Cotto II. If Canelo wins, I could see Canelo vs. Floyd II. Either one is too big to turn down for Floyd!

I like Keith Thurman and I hope that they do start putting him in against real top 10 competition like he desires, he desserves it and the public craves it.
