I am pretty sure Maidana gets points at a certain number, while Floyd gets a share from all ppv buys. They did deals like this before with Floyd the fight has to do over 1.5 million buys or more before Maidana gets a percentage. Basically he won't get much or any if the fight doesn't do 1.5 million buys, and the Argentine TV rights are crap he won't get much from anything just like Pac just gets chump pesos from Philippine TV rights.

The reason Maidana's salary is so low is the same reason everyone else who fights Floyd;s is they over pay this guy and he won't take a paycut he is hands down the greediest boxer in the history of the sport. I'm curious to see what type of Profit golden boy makes when Floyd fights since Floyd keeps the majority of the revenue or claims so.

Floyd keeps saying fighters want to fight him because they will get the most money in their career, but the truth is if fighters wanted to fight someone and get paid the most money they should aim to fight Pacquiao, his opponents have made more than Floyds in general.
