A "swipe" does not cause your eye orbit to break. This was a delayed reaction to his eye from an earlier shot.

That broken eye orbit is what cause the swelling. Having your eye "swiped" gently with a soft red mitten does NOT break bones in the face. The same Swelling Margarito had when his eye socket got crushed by Pacquiao.
