MAIDANA IS A TOUGH FIGHTER THAT CAN BEAT ANY OF THE CURRENT FIGHTERS ON ANY GIVEN NIGHT.

The way he fights gives you hope. He's either going to strike gold or get shut out.

tHEY SAW SOUTHPAW AND THOUGHT VICTORY FOR GUERRERO.
MAIDANANA HAS ONE THING GOING FOR HIM....UNPREDICTABILITY.
HIS PUNCH UNPREDICTABLE....IT LOOKS LIKE A HOOK TO THE BODY BUT ENDS AS A LOOPING LEFT TO THE HEAD.
THIS WILL BE TOUGH BUT IF I SEE FLOYD COMFORTABLE EARLY AND IN THE POCKET LIKE HE DID CANELO....SAY GOODNITE MAIDANA

I want him to win, but I just can't envision anybody beating Floyd until it actually happens.

That said, there seems to be a perfect storm of personal issues taking place in Mayweather's private and public life right now. If he's not 100% up for this, Maidana's gonna find out about it by the end of the first round.

there's something in maidana's overhand right that was successful somehow against broner's shoulder roll. i'd favor floyd heavily but if chino doesn't get frustrated and not lose steam, he can give floyd some rough time.

I feel like this fight is gonna be hard for Floyd. Maidana will chase no doubt, but even if Floyd stays in the pocket with him Maidana has punches in his arsenal to deal with close range.

Only three scenarios where Maidana could win: Floyd getting caught with a headshot that had a force he did not expect, or a bodyshot, or age catches up to him and his legs start weakening from a brutal attack, that is if Maidana can launch and sustain such an attack against a defensive wizard.

Anything can happen, I just don't see any of these playing out. Even though most think it is practically impossible for Mayweather to stop Maidana because he doesn't score KO's, if a fighter is countered enough, they can be stopped. Not an impossible outcome.

Even though Maidana has improved over his last few fights, he still loops his punches and though he is deceptive because he uses angles which is a plus for him, he is not impossible to predict. One thing is certain, he will not stop bringing the heat, for better or worse. But Floyd UD is the most viable outcome.

You never know. If Floyd has an off day, and maidana has his eureka moment. Also now Floyd IS FIGHTING A bit more often he is more likely to have that bad day at the office.
When he was fighting so little to be the one to get Floyd on his bad day was less likely. But now the probability when Floyd don't perform is likely.

Honestly I don't give Maidana much of a chance but the factors I would hone in on are these. Stamina- I haven't watched enough of Maidana's fights to know but this will be more key in the Mayweather fight than any he's had certainly since missing combined with chasing will sap his energy greatly. Style- Maidana throws at weird angles. At first I thought wow this guys punches look horrible but after watching some of his fights I feel like his overhand right may just be a perfect answer to the shoulder roll. Its an awkward style and is really very unorthodox. These kind of fighters give counter punching boxers headaches. However all of this is negated by Floyd's speed if he's in top game. The overhand can be avoided by backwards movement and Mayweather is notoriously hard to back into a corner. I think that if Money is even remotely off his game this could be an upset loss for him and I think that Maidana has the drive and motivation to be the hardest opponent he's fought in a long, long time.
