He won't retire. There are 3 beatable guys out there that he could milk the remaining 3 fights out of. If Pacquiao signs that contract extension, he won't be one of them.

You either play by his rules or you don't get to fight and that's BS. He doesn't have a right to do that. It's a way for him to avoid fighting certain guys, plain and simple. He would never do that with a chump who has no shot at beating him. He would never do that with Maidana and risk not making this fight happen because it's an easy Win and an easy payday.
When you're the boss, you can do that. When you're under contract with a boss, you shut up and do as you're told. However, there are plenty who don't mind testing, and wouldn't mind $40 million dollars too. It's Manny's loss. Good luck with Marquez 5, or Alvarado.

Friday's turn of events made that pretty clear. There have been previous negotiations and lots of rhetoric. At various times throughout this whole ordeal, I believe both sides have been to blame.

But at this moment, the fault of a fight not being made falls squarely on the shoulders of Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, who, in my view, simply doesn't want to make the match at a moment when there seems to be no legitimate impediment.
Arum doesn't want to match his cash cow, Pacquiao, with somebody he doesn't control, and he has no control over Mayweather. He once did, but that was years ago, before their nasty breakup

Tell Manny to take notes from Cotto, leave Arum, get paid!
Who is getting paid more per fight? Is it Cotto or Pacquiao? So there, we don't have to tell Manny to take notes from Cotto. Why you keep dwelling in the past? It's been five long agonizing years for the sport's fan to keep back and forth about blood testing, cut, new bigger Stadium, $40 mil flat no PPV cut, etc, etc. We are talking about NOW. Before these two hangs 'em up. Are you aware that his newest demands is to leave TR, sign in with TMT, and fight Canelo or Guerrero before Manny have a chance to get in the ring with him? If not I recommend to take that blinders off and see the big picture here.

Pacquiao's financial adviser Michael Koncz told The Associated Press on Thursday that a 45,000-seat boxing arena being built in Las Vegas won't be finished before the end of May and staging the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight in a smaller venue is "foolish from an economic standpoint."

How ****** can you be. It wasn't I who didn't trust the ESPN blogger (Dan Rafael), it was [I]BULLRUSH[I]. I was the one referring him to the article. If you read more than sports you would know about the Huffington Post!

You're right, Manny should stay with TR and fight Marquez or Alvarado. And you're right, it's all Floyd's fault. Bob Arum is awesome! You PAC fans are ridiculous!

#3. Floyd fighting Pac isnt even a fight anymore....**** Canelo would beat the breaks off Pac so whats so special about a Pac fight with Floyd. He isnt the most dangerous fight out there.
#4. Stop calling fighters scared it makes you look like a hater...NO FIGHTER IS SCARED!
I am a boxing fan as well and I can't help myself to respond to your post.
#1 I'm not Floyds fan whatsoever
                #2 like I stated, I am a boxing fan
#3 Floyd and Manny fight still relevant, millions of casual and hard core fans still pay to see these fight made. Canelo will not beat the breaks off Manny because it's not gonna happen. (weight class that Manny will never get his a55 test again) what's so special about Manny and Floyd fight even Manny is diminishing? Bragging right. So we can drop once and for all who is the better fighter between the two. If he isn't as dangerous like you stated, then the more reason Floyd wanna take this fight. Are you telling me that Maidana is more dangerous than Manny?
#4 yeah he he scared. Not to fight Manny and get hurt in the process, but scared that Manny might edge him and lose that precious "0" that he treasure the most. Cause for him having an undefeated record will make him one of the Best, if ever The Best Ever ( according to him). So there you have it.

I thought I was the only one that thinks that it just a ploy from Floyd so that people will tune in to watch these worthless-not even-a-close fight PPv event. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

He have three more fights under his contract with Showtime, don't tell me he will pay millions and millions of dollars just to terminate his current contract. Only fools will fall for his bla bla. Good job Al and Leonard, that's how you play the PPV viewers and get their money. Genius if you ask me. But they ain't fooling me. No sir.
