It's amazing how badly Floyd is ducking Pacquiao and his legion of worshipers still bring up blood-testing lol.

Well I heard Pac is going to resign with Top Rank (which I don't understand but whatever), so I guess Floyd has another built-in excuse...and now he can also retire for a couple years and come back and fight another Ortiz-Ghost-Maidana type while Pacquiao's skills will diminish more and he might be retired himself.

Floyd's legacy will be not be remembered for losing to Jose Luis Castillo in the first fight and getting a gift decision but he also won't be remembered as "the Best Ever" or anything close to that...

Floyd will be remembered as a guy who remained "undefeated" because he carefully picked and chose opposition after the De La Hoya fight..and he ducked Pacquiao in his prime over what we now see was a lame excuse. Because after Pac agreed to blood-testing Mayweather came up with other excuses and then went on to fight subpar competition like Ortiz-Ghost-Maidana etc.

Accredited people in boxing will say...that yes Floyd was undefeated because he fought in a weak era and ducked the opponents who were dangerous (e.g. Prime Pacquiao)...Sugar Ray Leonard, Hagler and Hearns etc. all have multiple losses because they fought the best of their era and took on some of the best competition of all time...

Most historians in Boxing believe that Sugar Ray Robinson would dominate Floyd in a fight also.

Where does all this "ducking" talk come from? Freddie Roach is on record saying the failure of the first negotiations were their (TR and Manny) fault. We know what Arum did to the next round (Cuts, Stadiums?) In the past month I've heard Broner say he wanted to fight Manny. I heard Oscar say he wants Canelo to fight Manny. I heard Provodnikov say he wants to fight Manny. Yet what I hear Arum saying is he will fight the winner of Marquez vs. Alvarado. Who's the duck?

"Guerrero has sparred with Manny many times and he thinks he gets the best of Manny. He's made that public before that he used to beat Manny up in sparring. I see it a different way, but I would love that fight and I think it's a great fight,” Roach said in an interview with SecondsOut.com.

“There's a couple of other guys out there right now that I'm thinking about that are free agents. You look at Mayweather's last like four fights and so forth, if we can fight one of those guys that he went the distance with and knock that person out and be impressive, it puts us even closer to Mayweather because that's the fight we really want eventually," Roach said.

“He [Guerrero] went the distance with Mayweather and I think if Manny knocks him out, it puts us even closer to the Mayweather fight."

It is widely accepted that Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent will either be WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley or WBO light welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov. However, Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach floated another name as possible opponent for the eight-division champion - Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero.

So basically, Freddie wants Guerrero, Ortiz types AFTER FLOYD BEATS THEM.

“I think people will say why didn’t they fight each other, and blame both guys to be honest with you. Because the first negotiation we were against the blood test, and it was kinda our fault that the first time it didn’t work. Then it came to a point where we accepted that later on. I think it’s both guys.”

Here you go buddy, this is like 5 years ago. We're not even counting the numerous times he's been ducking fighters since then.

Didn't want to wait another week to fight Pacman, instead took the fight with JMM. Took the fight with JMM because he called him out. Yet when De La Hoya calls him out he ignores it and avoids the fight. Gets called out by Pacman, doesn't want to fight him, goes off topic and talks about how Ellerbe is doing a good job. He tried to avoid fighting Mosley as well but it took Mosley to rush the ring after Floyd's win and basically make him take the fight by challenging him right there on the spot, putting the gun on his chest and not leaving him another option but to take the fight. He's a pathetic coward.

So you know about Freddie admitting the first negotiations were TR's fault. You know the second negotiations were killed by excuses of cuts, and need for stadiums, and still it's Floyd's fault. You know that Larry Merchant asked Shane about fighting Floyd, and he said he was going on vacation and he might have a loose tooth. You know Floyd had to leave TR because Arum wouldn't give him Oscar and Cotto. Yet why still blame Floyd. Maybe you don't know. I wish I could see your video, but it won't play (at work). This is a Bob Arum disaster. I respect Manny, but he has the wrong guy. All he has to do is walk away, become a free agent, and get WAY RICHER. He can have Floyd, Canelo, Porter, and Thurman. All he has to do is what every other Athlete (LeBron, Cano, Peyton Manning, etc.) can do, become a free agent and get paid!

Just because Roach says stuff doesn't make it conclusive. Roach has been saying some pretty wacky stuff lately..I think he's losing his mind...

As far as the fight not happening because Pac didn't take the blood test..how do you know Floyd wouldn't have had another condition to make the fight happen?
Can anyone show me a contract Floyd signed requiring the blood testing and agreeing to 50-50? No, they can't. I would have bet everything I own that Floyd would have had another excuse if Pac agreed to blood-testing. And history proves me right because Floyd keeps coming up with new excuses..and btw..Floyd has fought much lesser opponents than Pacquiao but continues to play this role that Pac isn't a big fight anymore etc.

We would know if Floyd would come up with an excuse IF MANNY TOOK THE TEST. He should have called his bluff. Scared of needles? Who came up with that. I know Manny was told to say that BS, or someone else said it. That's crazy! If I cna't believe Freddie roach, and I can't believe Alex Ariza, and I can't believe Bob Arum, then how can I believe Manny?
