Empire that's failing. 83 year old Bob needs to call it a day and let Todd & co take over. As for Kathy calling out Haymon.... We are talking about a mogul, ex-havard grad. You think he didn't have the best lawyers money can buy to look over every single detail before he signed up Adonis 'piece of s...' Stevenson??

LOL that's true, Haymon is a Harvard Law grad. Something tells me he thought the situation out before acting on it.

I believe Duva's main intent with this is to keep Kovalev. Because Kovalev is no dummy, he sees he has no options at 175 on HBO and if he comes to the conclusion that Duva was incompetent during the Stevenson negotiations then she is a ghost in this sport again.

Can't get upset with a fighter taking the best offer and most money.

You're thinking of Arum, Haymon has an Econ degree. I think the bottom line is Duva wouldnt of gone through with the lawsuit if she didnt think she had some ground. She herself is a lawyer, i doubt shed go through all the trouble just to waste money. If she really had no grounds she woulda just made a big fuss, threatened to sue, but ultimately life goes on.

            This gon be good.

She could prove breach of fiduciary duty. But the rest will be difficult.

As Louis Litt from Suits says, "No contract, no agreement."

Haymon has become so powerful in boxing it's easy to forget that he is just an advisor, not a manager or promoter. As Duva says, he doesn't have a licence to promote fights.
The role he was playing in this game seemed to change very quickly to the point where he wasn't just giving Stevenson advice, he was acting behind the scenes to create a situation where his advice could be followed. Could be he over-stepped the line in doing that.
He has lawyers for sure, good lawyers, and so do Show-time and GBP. But were all these lawyers working together on this? I very much doubt it. That's the kind of situation where mistakes are made, even by clever people.

Haymon has been a advisor in name only for years. he's really a promoter. he's just crossed the wrong person and all his sht is coming out into the light.

he's in violation of the Ali Act. He has upset a vast majority the promoters in boxing. you can't be riding dirty when people are looking for you to F up.

The whole situation is way over his head. I don't think he's been reading or following closely.
