What makes you think that there is a chance of him having that PPV upside? Come on now. You can tell me.

Is it because the purse is so ridiculously low?

Is it because Floyd normally offers a PPV share to go with a fixed amount?

    Do tell.

Maidana was in no where near as good position to negotiate, he needs Floyd to really take it to the next level at least in short order, so I don't call those situations similar but in boxing it is very hard to find exact similar circumstance.
"That was a long time ago"

Yeah, when Floyd wasn't half as popular as he now. Flawed logic if flawed.

he made more than what Maidana is making
Carlos Baldomir was the lineal champ, and Mayweather's bargaining position was lower at the time. The bigger Mayweather gets, the bigger slice of the pie he will demand.

The end of the day Maidana doesn't bring much to the table, and for all intents and purposes he is a glorified sparring partner. Maybe (hopefully), the small amount of money he is earning, by comparison, will motivate him to try his hardest for the full 12 rounds. If he wants to earn big money, he will have to beat Mayweather, which is how things should be.

Think about it this way, Maidana and Guerrero both have boxing fans they are known guys and Maidana does get a bunch of love from boxing fans but they already know him.

The wife cancer stuff brings in a different element, it is also why they played up the family man angle on all access

What he's earning considering his position, and who he is facing is nothing new.
So you agree that Maidanas purse is a tasteless and disgusting lowball compared to what TR pays pacs opponents?

How much is Maidana worth Saturday and why? What numerical proof supports your argument?

How much shouldd he be making, what show his back end cut be, and how much should his promoter be getting since you're representing him online?

What's the point in getting to the top, if the top brings you 1 million more than a Broner fight? Why not just beat up Broner a few more times?

Pac's opponents do seem to get paid much better than Floyd's. Didnt Rios get 3 or 4 million? Bradley got 6 million?

No wonder Bradley stuck with TR.
