    Floyd Vs. Thurman? why?

can someone explain why thurman is a more valid opponent to floyd that maidana?? i keep reading people saying that floyd is taking on maidana instead of a real challenge like keith, i just don't get it, the guy's been looking terrific and KOing dudes left and right, but who were they? how is more valid to fight thurman at this stage of his career than a current world champion? and the other options are across the street and we all know they will not happen any time soon.

Thurman could be a credible opponent next or possibly after another fight or two.

Because the fight is not signed. Thats why these idiots say this. When he picked guerrero before canelo, it was the same thing on this board.

Thurman's a hypejob fighting C grade stiffs, Maidana deserves the fight much more.

Seriously, I'm tired of hearing about Thurman suspect azz

Sing Thurman's praises when one time faces one top 15 Welterweight, I'd even settle for a Josesito lopez, until then he is a plain ole straight up and down wild chinny hype job.......

He can actually box and punch, unlike Maidana. I'm not entirely sold on Thurman yet and don't quite know how to rate him but it's clear that he's a REAL welterweight in his prime, and a good one at that. Floyd hasn't fought many of them.

I'm a huge Thurman fan but he appears to me, to be too slow for Floyd.
