Rigondeaux is severely underrated. Whooped Gamboa's ass in amateurs, Mares, Russell Jr and countless others. Everyone who has ever worked with him have proclaimed him to be the best talent they've seen. His whole weight class is running in fear from him and at the same time show their admiration for his skill. Arce "Rigondeaux is the best in the world, better than Mayweather".

Rigondeaux has undoubtedly better footwork than Floyd and I think better defence too. The little guys he is fighting are much faster than Welterweights and yet he is statistically, the hardest guy to hit in the sport.

lol Man, I love Rigo, but I just can't agree with some of the things written about him. I often found myself defending Guillermo before the Donaire fight. Post-Nonito, it seems even the haters give him his props. The most they can say is that he's "boring."

I'm not prepared to say Rigo beats Floyd P4P. That may never happen. "El Chacal" is an incredible fighter; it speaks volumes about Mayweather's ability.

True but at least Rigondeaux is a master in there and it shows. I find Lara more disgustingly overrated because the shit you see people write on here isn't what he does in the ring

You may be right but I'd go with the longevity of Floyd in a fight. Still...it's interesting to think about...

The Donaire win was HUGE. I feel people are really low on Nonito just because he lost. How many years do you have to go to find someone who you could say would beat Nonito at 122 or below? Over 10 years maybe back when Barrera, Morales, and Pac were that small? I dont know exact dates but man that was like 2001-2003 ish?? People have turned on Nonito I think he's special at his weight classes...

If there's a few people I could see out boxing Floyd over 12 p4p (that were active during Floyd) the list would include Rigo and another even smaller guy in Ivan Calderon... In a p4p sense Rigo has a LOT that woul cause nightmares seeing as he has an enviable ability and attributes. He's VERY fast even for 122. His power isn't even normally proportional to 122 (likewise for Nonito). I dont think this is an unfair or out if this world idea to think there might be better fighters p4p than Floyd during his era. A lot of times you have to remember its not just what you CAN do, its what you can PROVE you can do.
