Lol I was in grade 3 when he turned pro...i have finished elementary school, middle school, high school, got my diploma and my masters, got a job and moved out and now I'm 26 and this mofo is still world champion and undefeated LOL come along way since the first time i saw Floyd fight Tony Pep and he's only gotten better with age. He's a living legend and he'll get his dues when he's long gone like a lot of other greats. People forget the hate Ali used to get when he was on top too

I think he hits harder than Broner, Morales, Khan, Soto Karass, Lopez... The only guy with above average power I remember Maidana facing was Ortiz. Every single one of those guys hurt Maidana. Mayweather will hurt him more because he'll hit him more often, more cleanly, and he'll catch him with shots he doesn't see. If Floyd doesn't get the KO I will be suprised.
Good point, if Floyd can line Chino up for big shots he'll hurt him and he'll be right up there with the biggest punchers Maidana has faced. ANd he doesn't realize it now but Floyd will be the strongest guy he's physically faced in the ring and Floyd's physical strength is something that gets overlooked

I like Maidana but even a 37 year old Mayweather outclasses him. He might push Floyd to the limit though lets hope for that.

Floyd knows he's pulling a fast one here.Bradley, pacman, porter and Thurman would of all been better options.Floyd will try to get away with the weakest of opponents and like he say's himself it's about self preservation. If that is of the uppermost concern and it's a fair comment then retire, for the money Floyd is getting he should only be fighting the divisions finest.

              A) Pac was knocked cold before that fight and on top of that B) was willing to go right back into a rematch with the guy who knocked him cold. If Mayweather had been knocked cold and tried to get a rematch with the guy who knocked him cold or the one who won an unpopular decision against him but had to settle for Rios, he would have received the same pluses and minuses that Pac got for fighting Rios.

He won't fight Bradley or Pacman because they're in top rank, and Porter and Thurman are still too green to fight Mayweather. (remember Maidana was chosen before Porter's break out performance against Malinaggi)

If Mayweather had chosen Porter instead of Maidana the backlash would have been worse. You'd be here saying that he's cherry picked Porter and that Maidana, Thurman etc would be better opposition.

they all had fights lined up... How would he have fought them in may????????? So tell me... At 147 outside of any top rank boxers, or fighters who already had fights lined up... Who should floyd have fought in may/2014

Bradley and pac? Have you been paying attention to boxing the last couple of years?? If Floyd would a picked porter or Thurman, A) only diehards would watch.. Mainstream still doesn't really know these guys. B) diehards would say way too unproven and cherry picked C) he beats them and thy sign to top rank, pac fights em, beats em... pacs amazing for beating a young lion
