Comments Thread For: Hatton: This is an Extremely Dangerous Fight For Khan!

FORMER two-weight world champion Ricky Hatton has warned Amir Khan not to get involved a bloody war with Luis Collazo this Saturday.

Hatton has advised Khan to use his slick skills and keep Collazo at a distance as the American has real knock-out power in his gloves.

The Hitman beat Collazo on a wafer-thin points decision eight years ago in his first fight in the welterweight division, but was very nearly stopped in the final round of a thrilling tussle.

Khan has to box extremely smart,he can't afford to take the type of shots Hatton did because he will be sparked out if he does

KHAN can win the fight only because LUIS is no more the fighter of 2006 when he fought HATTON,we are in 2014 people and LUIS walked trough the HELL in these years (from 2009)!!! Anyway let me tell you that LUIS is a very skilled fighter and if he find a way to shine,he will give a boxing lesson to KHAN.

Ricky is a top guy, but Khan can box unlike Ricky with his relentless aggression, which Collazo took apart well and arguably won the fight. Khan is going to win this with a UD and he WILL look good doing it.

Ricky is right about Khan tho. He went life and death with Collazo so he knows what could be in store for Khan this Saturday.

I think hattons quite a smart guy in terms of if you look at whos he's signed, rabchenko and browne, he's good at finding talent.

Collazo is a patient fighter. Intelligent, athletic. Khan is going to have a full plate.

Khan has the Mayweather fight on the table, all he gotta do is get past the doorman (Collazo) and he gets the biggest payday of his career and the fight he's been craving. If Khan looks good, let's say he dominates Collazo, then the Mayweather - Khan matchup would make sense because Collazo is a world class opponent who's just been overlooked. He signed to Haymon, moved up to 147, picked a very tough opponent to prove to the fans he deserves Floyd, so I think Khan will be too focused to take dumb chances, there is far too much at stake for him here.

It's really not that dangerous of a fight.

Khan should win with relative ease and if he doesn't than he needs to re-consider his career or where it's going.
