And if Richard wasn't such a richard, it wouldn't matter who is with who. But hes doing a disservice by not working with any other promoters.

You are forgetting a little something. Floyd's half a decade relationship with GBP has worked so well to the point where Mayweather has started in boxing's biggest PPV's of all time and is the highest paid athlete at the moment.

Has it occurred to you that he might just be content with his 20+ million plus ppv plus whatever raise came with it which by all account is a lot MORE that anyone on this forum will ever see in their lifetime? By the way, he lives in the Philippines so that kind of money is a hell of a lot more. Just can't understand why people are so concerned about another man's money. SMFH. It was never happening if both guys were on Showtime. Where's the extra money for Manny? You think he's cool with a Canelo type pay check?

Only way the fight would've gotten made was if HBO and SHOWTIME both put in $$$ to finance both fighters. And we all know that's not happening.

OR, if some rich prince from Saudi Arabia gave them both an amount worthy of this fight, and personally financed the entire event.

I think Mayweather promotions would guarantee him a purse if he got rid of arum.

years ago someone here stated that Pac would never leave Arum for the fact that Bob has some dirt on Pac....at the time, I thought the boy was just trolling.....but NOW, I'm starting to think that Bob is holding a gun to Pac's head....not physically but dudes know what I mean....something is definitely up over there....Pac don't need a promoter....he's already large....the name Pacquiao is popping all over the world

these companies have shareholders to answer to and set budgets. They cant just empty the bank without planning it out years in advance. These guys think these corporations can just make moves like they are owned by one guy.
