You know that Showtime is owned by CBS, right? They've got access to plenty of money if the investment is worth it.

        I'll say it again.

Where's Showtimes money to finance Manny in an adequate manner?

What, are they gonna put him on Floyd's under cards?

They went all in with Floyd. Can you grab me the article that says Showtime blew him away with an offer? Hell, can you show me the article that says GBP even offered him a deal?

Where's all this money coming from?

Think of Manny as an NBA player that has money issues. Who's he gonna go to? The team with the most talent, but the tighter budget, or the team that sucks with enough cap space to give him a max deal?

as most of you guys say it's all about the money and the money is there for pacquiao showtime would not be able to afford him without going bankrupt so quit your crying ... I don't personally give a *** what there getting paid and would have rather him be a free agent and take on goldenboy fighters but like what was mentioned they DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY OVER AT SHOWTIME

Bellator is owned by Viacom. How come they don't have every UFC fighter under the sun?

And stop cherry picking my posts.

Pacquiao will fight Mayweather... eventually, unfortunately for us it looks like it will happen later rather than sooner. That is, unless Mayweather plans on reserving his last fight with Showtime or possibly even his 50th fight for Pacquiao. I can't think of a more fitting ending to a lucrative career.

these companies have shareholders to answer to and set budgets. They cant just empty the bank without planning it out years in advance. These guys think these corporations can just make moves like they are owned by one guy.

You do know companies like showtime have economist working for them. How do you think the get the figures for the guarantees for Floyd? They sit down and discuss what it would it would cost, what the gross would be and profit margin. So let's just say they have to borrow the money from parent company cbs. To cover his fight dates. They will only put out enough money to make a profit and not lose any money. So if Manny wanted to sign they would have money for him.

Because the investment isn't worth it. You're talking about MMGay which has peaked and become overesaturated.
