How so? You want him to jeopardize his own future while waiting on the other guy who already secured his own future with Showtime and thus far has been non committal about fighting him. You can't hate a man for securing long term guaranteed money for him and his family. Manny resigning with top rank won't be the reason the fight won't happen. Perhaps he's like the vast majority who already saw the ship sailed on the fight already.

It's really a shame Pac lacks the common sense to become his own boss, and stop giving this crook almost 30% of his purse off top...his "advisor" is friends with Arum, brought in by Arum, so he's not truly looking out for Pac..sadly Pac may retire broke..once he pays the huge amount he owes IRS, he will virtually have nothing, and will be forced to get yet another loan from Rob Arum..smh

Bob said he takes 30% of every purse for taxes, then he takes his 30% then roach takes his 15% thats 75% before pac and the crew get paid. And what does arum do with the interest from the 30% he "sets aside" for pac? Bet pac dont see it.

Only way the fight would've gotten made was if HBO and SHOWTIME both put in $$$ to finance both fighters. And we all know that's not happening.

Has it occurred to you that he might just be content with his 20+ million plus ppv plus whatever raise came with it which by all account is a lot MORE that anyone on this forum will ever see in their lifetime?

People talk about the outstanding Pacquiao taxes, but those will very likely be settled for less than the maximum $60 million owed. The most disturbing figure is when they froze all of his bank accounts there was apparently only like $40,000 across 26 or however many accounts. I mean wtf, that is less than a weeks wages for a mediocre soccer player. Where the hell is the money going?
