No kidding, with all the sh.t he's been talking about GBP and Mayweather in particular, let's see if he's going to do what he says GBP doesn't do.

Wishful thinking on my part. GGG vs Chavez has FOTY written all over it

Haymon will be in complete control of boxing, at least in America, after Pacquiao retires.

Did i misinterpret the Chavez tweet? He's signing something in it does he mean "the fight is made and there is no extension i got my way" or is he just publicly stating "its still not made and i refuse to sign an extension "?

Bob Arum would have to be an idiot to let the fight fall through. Chavez is going nowhere fast, just cash him out on this fight.

Lol...why are people trashing Arum for seeking extension - this pro game is all about ROI. Chavez wants 3M+

You guys would pay someone that kind of cash and not expect to be locked in?

If it was my money - damn right I'd be seeking contract extensions.

sure. but you're seeing from Arum's perspective. From Chavez', why would he lock himself in like Pac?

Both are doing what is best for each. No need to judge either, though I believe that if Arum gets his way it is more stifling because it closes fights. So I'll side with JCC point without judging Arum

                      Fair enough

I totally see JCC's POV. He sees Cotto and Mayweather making more money than before as a FA. He thinks he has the name value to bring in more cash. More power to him - the longetivity for a fighter at the upper levels in short normally - so I want him and all boxers to make as much as possible.

For the others - I just see no reason to villify Arum for making a business decision. If him and other promoters were in the business of letting fighters bank 3M and then walk away - nobody would be in business.
