It's moot in the sense that they're not gonna oust one racist owner just to have another be part of the new ownership. That's not the only hurdle either, not only would the league not allow it the owners of the NBA would never allow it since their approval is needed when ownership of a team changes.

Sterling has been a known racist for years. How many felonies has Jay-Z rapped about committing? Jordan got his dad killed over ******** debts. I don't watch the sport and couldn't care any less about it. I just remember the number being lower than expected. Millions, not billions.

Jay Z and Jordan's cases aren't related to racism, I don't know why you're using those analogies. The point is the league would look bad if they ousted sterling for his supposed racist remarks and allowed Floyd to be part of the new ownership group given his history in the matter.

I don't know where you're going with your third point. We're discussing ownership, not players. If a player said something racist they'd get fined and maybe suspended. When an owner says something racist people want new ownership.

clippers are worth over a half billion. If you're not a billionaire you're not buying a controlling share of a team.
