He already had the fight until Marcos beat Broner. The collazzo win most certainly gets him the fight...it's a joke but that's how Floyd does business. It's about the $$$$$ not the best fights all the time.

Floyd has every advantage over Khan, except for speed. The fight would be competitive for MAYBE 2 rounds.

Of course not, not a chance in hell. Khan should have fought Alexander when he had the chance, and then accept Brook's offer of what was it $5million? Or something like that. With wins over Alexander and Brook, hell yeah he would have deserved it. But a close 114-112 fight with an old, close to retirement Julio Diaz, and an unknown light punching Carlos Molina, and now finally at a "solid" but dangerous opponent in Collazo, that does not call for a Floyd fight.

Unfortunately I think Khan fighting on Mayweather's undercard in a fight that could be a main event on ShoChampBox, comes with a price. I think that price is that Khan agreed to fight on the undercard but only if he is guaranteed a Floyd fight in September if he wins, which is why he signed with Haymon. I don't dislike Khan, but for that very reason, (that we may see Floyd-Khan if he wins), I would like Collazo to score a TKO and then have the long awaited Maidana vs Khan II, and hopefully Floyd sets his eyes on Lara if he beats Canelo, Porter, or Thurman for September.

Beating Collazo gets you a Floyd fight? No way, nothing against Collazo who is decent but common.

He needs to fight a big welterweight name and win convincingly.

No he should first rematch Prescott followed by Garcia if somehow he comes through those unscathed he should give Chino a rematch. Then he needs to fight Alexander since that was a clear duck.

After that if he can beat Matthysse, Porter, Thurman, Brook and Broner one after the other on the same night, then and only then does he deserve a shot at Floyd in my eyes.

P.S I would have also liked to see him give Diaz a rematch, such a shame he's retired.

I see Khan winning this one by suspect decision.

                    it depends....
if Khan is able to either khtfo or dominate collazo then theres a big possibility he faces khan next. if khan doesnt look good and wins then i say no!

yes, this would be reasonable. however, IF Khan gets past Collazo, i see it going like a few others here: he just tries to sit it out and lobby for Mayweather next.
