Great, another olympic gold medalist that is going to get rushed.

Usyk has an amateur style, in many ways he is similar to Lomachenko whose father I believe trains the two.

He has the same flaws I seen in Lomachenko. No jab, no real inside fighting ability, that horrible earmuff defense with the same predictable three way twist.

He needs time to grow. He is a good prospect but like Lomachenko I don't care how many fights he had as an amateur he is noway near the finished article.

What champion are they matching him against? He isn't ready for Huck, Wlodacyrz or Hernandez

Good talent but they should stop rushing these guys towards title shots they are not ready for.

Na, he is trained now by that guy from Wlad's camp, forgot his name, the guy on the left.

I think he is fairly decent inside...but true, he has work to do with his jab to stiffen it up a bit. He could be pushed a little early and too fast, but I think he is a quickly developing guy. And I think K2 might do differently from Top Rank and not put him in there for a title unless he is ready.

Correct, Usyk's trainer is Bashir. Rushed like Chakhkiev? He already paces himself better than Rakhim.

Aha, yeah, James Ali Bashir that's the one. I think Usyk is a quickly developing guy...and he will get a more solid pro style as he goes along, whether he's ready as early as 12 fights...we shall see.
