Shaefer has been flexing nuts lately, he knows DLH needs him so he's saying I'm going to run it my way or fire me and pay me.
One day DLH is calling Arum a dinosaur and the next day he's saying he wants to work with him again. Wasn't Arum saying the reason they don't work together is because of the networks in the US, the networks in Mexico and all kinds of other logistics? Is Arum going to jump ship from HBO and co-promote fights on SHO? Golden boy is still banned at HBO unless something has changed.
We obviously don't know all the details about where the problems originated from but DLH should get a more active role in his company if he doesn't like how it's being run. You can't just be high/drunk going to rehab then come out and want everything done differently when it's been going pretty good while you're away.
At this point there's no doubt that DLH needs Schaefer a lot more then Schaefer needs DLH. If Oscar gets rid of Schaefer his company can go to shit real fast.Comment

Dude everyone knows Iole is a paid guy, he starts out unbiased, but than he becomes biased cause he gets paid to schill.
Remember UFC? he wasn't a fan of mma before all of a sudden he started covering UFC, he was being paid by them.
Now Richard and Haymon are paying him off. He used to love Pacman now he bashes him, he was bashing Pacman who turned into a boxer saying fans will not buy his fights unless he delivers KO's, now he is praising Floyd saying he is so great and masterful and puts on a show wtf?
Floyd never gets KO's yet Iole puts no pressure on him to get KO's.Comment

Oscar doesn't know how to run a business, just like Floyd doesn't know how to run a business, they pay guys to run things for them and invest for them.
The only thing here is can Richard succeed once Floyd retires? Haymon doesn't know how to build fighters he just gets them good deals, can Richard build fighters the way Top Rank built fighters?
The only way Oscar gets screwed here is if Canelo signs with Haymon, because once Floyd retires Canelo is the next biggest star on goldenboy.
Showtime deal and Richards move all revolves around Mayweather, like the article said.
Once Mayweather retires it will be interesting to see how far Richard, Haymon, Espinoza go can they build other fighters into stars and how will the showtime boxing ratings look? Will people care about Mayweather the promoter? a lot of questions.Comment
