Oh please. Sure lots of people cheer for him to lose, and deservedly so. But let's be real, it is pretty obvious that a ridiculous amount of anti-Mayweather sentiment is coming from one place and it's not the Mexican boxing fans.
Mexican and Chicano boxing fans for the most part dont like Floyd Mayputo Jr. when a homie or my familia have fight parties MAYBE 3 out of the 50 or so people in the house are rooting for him, the rest could give a ****as.s about him or his ignorant ways. I could care less either way, i'm just there to enjoy the food, great company and most of the other fights. As for the main event, i'll watch some of it, but mostly shooting pool or horshoes, as floyds fights never excite me. great fighter, but not the type i prefer.

you're in ****ing Milwaukee...what the hell do you know about who Mexicans root for?
I don't think Pac fans are the only ones that root against Floyd, bruh. He has plenty of others rooting against him as well. I usually watch PPVs with my Mexican homeys, and they do it big. Like 30-35 people over for a Floyd PPV. And ALL of them root against Floyd. And none of them are Pac fans. They probably laughed as hard as you did when Manny hit the deck.
I don't understand the concept of buying/watching a PPV to watch someone you hate.
I hate some singers/rappers music...I don't listen to them or look at the news to see if they have gotten in trouble, so that I can be satisfied. Some films I hate, I don't look up how they did in the box office, or how people scored it, and be happy with low ratings or if the film failed. It just sounds so ******ed. I buy Pac fights not always because I want to see him lose, it's just to watch it. I rooted for Pac in the Diaz, DLH, Cotto, Margarito fights and rooted against him in the Hatton, Clottey, Marquez III and 4, Bradley I andI was neutral in Pac-Bradley II. I have my fights where I root for/against Pac, but never "Let me buy this PPV to see him lose".
I just can't grasp that concept. I mean you hate Soulja Boy, you're gonna go buy his album to make fun of it/criticize it? It just sounds backwards.
You as in not you personally, I am generally speaking. You are cool in my book.

But then they watch him, in a so called mismatch so bad they call it a cherry pick...but they watch him, to see him lose, in a cherrypicked mismatch. Nice. Genius.

I have NSB for one, and the only bars that show PPVs here are all in heavily Mexican areas. They want to see Mayweather lose, but no more or no less than they wanted to see Pacquiao lose. At least that is the general vibe I've gotten, fight fans wanting to see good fights.
Are you all really going to sit and pretend the anti-mayweather garbage threads we see here everyday are coming from a diverse group? It is Pacquiao fans 99% the time.

I believe Mexicans, Pinoys, some white and few black population don't like Floyd.
PR fans tolerate Floyd as long as he is not a rival to a PR boxer, DR and Cuban fans for the most part like Floyd as well. Other Latino's are probably mixed about Floyd, there are some heavily racist countries out there that hate even their people of darker complexion. Cuah(poster) and many other Mexican posters can tell you himself whiter Mexicans are racist against darker Mexicans. I don't want to make this about race, but it does play a bigger part in boxing than people want to think.
Floyd is on another level of hatred though, my professor who is a huge boxing fan and an old school boxing fan is African American, he does not like Floyd at all and he actually likes Pacquiao. And we already now how Leonard, Hagler, Tyson, etc. feel about Floyd
The bigger question is...what are the knob slobbering fanboys of May and PAC going to do when they retire? Where are they going to go? Are they going to find new nuts to hug and cuddle and continue turning NSB into a funny farm?
