I really doubt there was an injury. Supposedly it was on his left side and when he was sitting on the stool I saw him lean on that side without even flinching. And that was after the fight was stopped.

there's no shame in retiring from the fight with a broken rib at that point in your career. that thing can poke your lungs, etc.

diaz had a very good career. i'm sure he made pretty good money. hopefully he stays in good health and has a productive second half[+] of his life.

          good luck.

Julio was ****ing bad ass swinging with a guy like thurman. The guy has no fear, it was such a buzzkill the way the fight ended.

I would have like to see him get a Judah fight or a malignaggi fight rather than Thurman. That was kinda ****ed up by gbp

Despite how the fight ended, he showed some balls trying to slug it out with Thurman. He was always a warrior so gotta respect that.
I'm from the same area he is (met him a couple of times and been to his crazy ranch parties ) He has a construction business on the side but he also has a thing for rooster fights. Best of luck to The Kidd
