Mayweather is The Executive producer so he has no problem showing what was shown on that clip. Also Mayweather has no problem fighting Pacquiao. He called Pacquiao personally to offer him $40m and would have wired $20m as soon as Pacquiao signed the contract right there. What Floyd has issues with is to give a penny to Bob Arum. Floyd going anywhere without bodyguards happens to most people who are rich just that some are less identifiable. Even Shane Mosley has bodyguards, Sugar Ray Robinson had some and Amir Khan uses bodyguards in some areas. Mayweather of course has made a career by capitalising on people's hatred of him so he needs that security more and also some of that stuff is to protect him from unfounded allegations. See how people used to attack Mike Tyson in public then sue him when he retaliated? Mike Tyson is a big guy but people weren't afraid to attack him what more of Mayweather? Of course Showtime would love to get Pacquiao from HBO and will do anything they can to land not just Pacqiuiao but every boxer if they can.

That's just basic business and cost benefit analysis. Floyd is a premium brand and puts on shows. What you call stacked to Floyd those are just minor expenses. Of course everyone will be getting paid their record purse to be on that card but people still buy Floyd's cards regardless. There will be marginal increase of numbers of course but main reason for his cards is just to deliver to fans to create that experience.

Mayweather-Pacquiao will still be great because of the big names, but it will be great in the way Tyson-Lewis was great. Mayweather-Lara will be great in the way Vitali-Lewis was great - a fresh young talent challenging a great but aging champion.
If people cared that much about Pacquiao it would show in the ppv numbers don't you think?

You seem to be answering a question I didn't ask.

I never claimed Pacquiao's PPV numbers where as high as Floyd's (I frankly couldn't care less about PPV numbers). All I said was that Manny was Floyd's biggest threat at one particular time (which is true).
