Schaefer said he wants Matthysse vs Guerrero, would be a ****ing great fight

You have to understand what Schaefer's strategy is. I have figured it out. He talks about fights like Broner/Matthysse and Matthysse/Guerrero, but he will continue to give the fans as many mismatches as he can. Then, when he finally does make fights like Broner/Matthysse and Guerrero/Thurman, he will put it on PPV and expect the public to pay $50 to see it. And, from that point on, Schaefer will continue to feed us mismatches on regular Showtime while every quality matchup will be on PPV. If you don't believe that, take a look at the fight coming up this summer -- Alvarez/Lara. There is no way in hell that fight belongs on PPV. However, that is what Schaefer is giving us. I won't be paying for it, nor will I pay to see any other fight that should be on regular Showtime.

I will not pay $50 for one, two or even three fights that should be on regular Showtime, so I will likely stop watching boxing in one to two years because that is the direction it is heading.

broner doesn't have the punch out put to out work matthysse, and I don't think his chin would be able to handle a clean matthysse punch.

broners pot shotting style won't keep a murder like matthysee off of him. if broner was able to come out and hurt matthysse within the first round to establish and gain some resepct, I believe it'll be a long hard night for broner and he would receive another loss.....

it's an intriguing match up to say the least. definitely not PPV worthy, matthysse is PPV worthy, broner not so much.

The bottom line is Lucas lost his last title shot. He's done nothing since then to justify anotber one. Ppl on this site seem to dislike corruption unless it's working in the favor of their favorite fighter. Makes no sense. There's no way Lucas deserves a title shot based on what he has done lately. But we have this idiot crying like he does.

And who does, Selchuk Aydin, maybe Viktor Postol? There's 4 titles per division, give me a break. Even with a close loss to Garcia, he deserves it more than any other 140 fighter

I guess getting put on your ass by a guy that was blown out in 40seconds by a fighter Broner whooped so bad he was criticized for even fighting means Lucas is back. Only on boxingscene. Funny thing about these clowns on here is they went totally nuts about Lucas KO'n Peterson. Peterson was dropped a couple times by ole 12 KO Bradley. His chin aint exactly Margarito-esque.

I dunno dude, Canelo and Lara are two of the top 5 154's, in a 50/50 fight, if that's not PPV, what would be? Do they need to flash money and buy strippers first? Floyd is a PPV fighter for the wrong reasons (popularity), real PPVs should be ones like the Canelo Lara fight
