His trash talk is really not that bad, in fact compared to most boxers, his trash talk is pretty mellow. He is very respectful to his opponents, he was basically praising Soto Karass pre-fight for having the balls to fight him(seriously watch the post fight conference, he rains compliments on him). I think he is just annoyed that so many Welterweights are unwilling to fight him. I don't think everybody is ducking him like some of his fans do, but when you have guys like Collazo saying he "isn't worth it" (when that was a great match to make at the time) you know something is wrong.

I do think he is overhyped as of now, but that is because he hasn't had the opportunity to prove himself.
