    wlad does himself no favours
Wladimir was poisoned when he fought Lamon Brewster and Corrie Sanders, in my eyes he has only lost to Ross Purity... That was a young Wladimir aswell

Don't forget what you said... Haye could beat Wlad with the 'right' gameplan

Plus the man got KO'd by Sanders and Brewster, those guys ain't exactly ATG's.
Do you consider Haye an A level fighter? How many A level fighters did Ali fight?

Thus by his perfect minimalistic-seeming technique he actually shows how bad previous generations of boxers were who could win with such techniques like feinting and combos.

Wladimir is the blueprint for what strategies work (in his case) and don't work (in his opponents' case). Wladimir Klitschko is the measuring stick for champions of the past and future.
A prime Tyson would have eaten him alive in there.

Imo he only fought three -
          George Foreman

Sonny Liston (unlucky first fight w.shoulder injury)
Minus that I think Liston would of beat M.Ali then the rematch... I've absolutely no words for that fight don't even want to talk about it.

Prime Tyson in all honesty would be put behind a jab and be frustrated all night long then eventually as the rounds go on Tyson would tire and Wladimir would start to land at will and with his superior conditioning he'd be able to really turn the heat up on Tyson.

              No.

Prime Tyson beats about any fighter in history, but he struggled against a big skilled man in Lennox Lewis. No Tyson was not prime vs Lewis, but when you are considering his prime speed, movement in this context, wont make big difference. Its the same with prime Tua vs Lennox. The good big man simply shuts down the good little man. Same would be with Wlad vs Tyson. Wlad will avoid him or clinch him down, drain his energy and wear him down, frustrate him. Wlad TKOs Tyson in the later rounds.

Is this era weak, or is it just weak compared to the Klits?

Klitschko's have made the era look weak just like Joe Louis did when he had his reign.

joe Louis would get smashed by wlad.

George forman??? He was meant to be a monster but in reality was the same height and weight as Haye was.

Wlad is simply the best heavyweight ever from a stylistic point of view. he has boxing on lock down. He has mastered it to the point of footwork, distance and punch accuracy.

iTS A PLEASURE TO WATCH HIM FIGHT.

he throws his punches so short and straight. thats what amazes me the most. its very difficult to defend against even with your hands up
