This is the only choice Maidana has. He's not going to outbox him like Canelo, Mosley, Cotto, Guerrero, and many others tried to do. That's an insane gameplan, yet people keep trying to do it, over and over and over again.

Cotto is the worst case of this IMO. People say he did so good, but he had his chances to let loose and really attack, and failed to try and do that. Instead a lot of the fight he was content with walking May to the ropes, cutting off the ring, land a jab then back out. It was horrible.

Anyone criticizing Maidana for this gameplan is contradicting who he is and why he became so good and contradicting what everyone thinks needs to be done against Mayweather. They all say it, and you get guys coming out like Guerrero and trying to out twitch Mayweather. Asinine.
