because he think he is a bad ass. Omar should have uppercut his ass for being rude.

I think Omar lost, but what's the point of telling him to his face when you know he can't do anything. *******

Belmontes clearly landed the harder more effective shots, he won the fight

Omar has been given a belt, a undeserved TV slot against a prospect and a robbery win.

He need to learn that while moving like that, you gotta throw, judges don't like moving and moving with minimal punches being thrown, especially when your opponent has outworked you throughout the fight.
I agree, Belmontes could use some fine tuning. If he threw more combos and got his stamina up , he could go places.
I especially liked his lead left hook , he threw it a lot in the early rounds but never followed up with combos.

Once Omar fights somebody with some power. He will get stopped like Giovani Segura did all offense and no defense.

Belmontes was effective but wasn't doing enough while Figueroa had the work rate but his punches had very little on them.

2 Judges went with volume in this one.

I always thought Figueroa was Overhyped and never thought he was very good. And last night proved it.
