exactly. what does he expect? every fighter to be a human punching bag like Arakawa? this is boxing not even in MMA is it always brawling.

I thought last night would prove how much he's improved since working with Joel Diaz but that clearly wasnt the case last night.

You did the right thing -- the kid is intelligent...

Why would you be such a dirt ball and insult the fighter who is taking the time to autograph your kid's stuff? It's a sport and you are just a spectator. Lace up the gloves an give it a go. Way to show your kid how to be a fan.

I thought Belmontes was the clear winner,,, The fight kinda reminded me of a watered down version of danny-herrera

OM sucks, he has no straight punches AT ALL only hooks. He couldnt do **** at range and got smothered in close.

Belmontes definetly won it was a Garcia-Herrera type decision.

It was terrible watching him put his hands down and sigh in frustration when Belmontes was on the move. I'm like dude, cut off the ****ing ring, stop being a big baby. All he would do if Belmontes was close to him was be a damn octopus anyway and fight inside. The guy can not fight to save his life if his opponent has a bit of distance from him. Figueroa NEEDS you within kissing distance from him to be effective.

BTW is O.F. gay? Dude sounds like a flaming ****. I bet Orlando Cruz is keeping his eye on him for when he comes out, he will suck him off immediately. I bet when Cruz said there's more gay boxers, they are just afraid to come out, he was referring to Omar. Disclaimer: IDC if he's gay and I would have nothing against him.

BTW despite ending up liking Belmontes style more than Figueroa's, I felt that Figueroa won. But I am more interested in seeing Belmontes career than Figueroa's. I thought Belmontes was moving a lot but not throwing anything for way too long. He will learn from this and become better. He need to learn that while moving like that, you gotta throw, judges don't like moving and moving with minimal punches being thrown, especially when your opponent has outworked you throughout the fight.

I feel Omar lost that fight and he knew it. Facial expression and body language told the whole story.. The 118-110 card after the long delay prior to the reading of the scorecards didnt look right to me. That judge was bought, no way you give Figs 10 rounds.. no way. Why pay off judges and invest in a fighter whos eventually going to be exposed again? you cant create a prospect/champion.. has to be organic.

Not that compubox wins fights, but wasn't it like a 175 to 120 punches landed in favor of Figueroa? I mean take away the compubox stats, before I saw them, I felt Figueroa just landed more flurries and outworked Belmontes. It was a good competitive fight but I felt Figueroa edged it and believe me, i'm not a fan of the guy's style and skills at all. I would have preferred Belmontes to deserve the win but I thought the right guy won.
