Whats the backstory of Porter? His dad said he was a single parent raising Shawn all by himself? Did Shawn's mom pass away? Or did she run out on them?

Shawn seems like a real stand up guy. Seems religious in a more sincere way than other fighters who use their religious image for publicity.

i guess if she did die then porter would have probably mentioned something in a post fight interview like "this is for you mom, rest in peace" but i cant remember hearing him ever say that.. maybe she did walk out on the fam...

Ye too many fighters and their moms are into witchcraft but pretend to be Christian for publicity's sake.

I know Shawn has a sister and brother, I saw her on the MTV show they were on. She was hitting the mitts with his father.

I think Kenny was a teen father, but I think he got back together with shawn's mother later on.
