hate how maidana is unfairly being defined by a single loss. fighters can have off nights. he was supposed to be "alexander'd" by broner and lopez too. anybody with an ounce of boxing ability will "alexander" him. seriously, shut the hell up already.
How Do Maidana fans feel about Chino being called a "Bum?"

Maidana did not have energy to work out of the clinch, due to being OUT OF SHAPE. He got beat because he simply did not have the energy to overwhelm Alexander. You think a rematch with a peak physical shape Maidana would play out the same way? Maidana's central style is built around being an imposing physical force, something being out of shape directly detracts from.
as to your opinion of me.. I could care lessComment

Exactly man. Not everyone is as consistent as all that. Doesnt mean on they best nights they're not a force.Comment

Its a metaphor. But staying in shape is one of boxing's holy cannons. If you dont put in the work, it will show in the ring. That is precisely what happened.

The difference in form alone is painfully apparent, let alone the conditioning, mindset, and ect.
and he overwhelms alexander if hes in peak physical shape. Roughs him up and stops him. Similar to what porter did with more emphasis on the damage dealt. It would be a revenge match so... im confident chino would come in breathing flameComment

Yall must be tired of hearing this as we are of hearing about old tape, but since he got with a good team its made a world of difference in Maidana.

Let me explain to you why Maidana could never fuck with Alexander, he doesn't set up his offense fast enough, Maidana can throw short punches but he isn't fast enough to beat Alexander to the punch, isn't fast enough to consistently get inside enough, it'll always, I repeat always be Alexander getting off first then tying up Maidana. Doesn't matter if Master Roshi trained him and Yajirobe was giving him senzu beans after every round in the corner. Maidana doesn't have the tools to deal with Alexander nor does he have the physicality to not only get out the clinch but fight out of it as well.
Your whole basis on Alexander winning is him be allowed to clinch over 100 times without penalty again. It's completely flawed logic.Comment

Although I think Chino is underrated skillwise and a quick study..sometimes its not just about skill its about who is the better man at the time. Who prepared better and who wants it more.Comment
